Bridges Competitions which is a trading name of bridges Competitions Ltd (Promotor) – Operator of skill-based competitions which result in allocation of prizes

Prize – bridges Competitions may host multiple competitions at a time, each competition will have a specific prize(s) with a cash alternative for each paid entry competition (not including free competitions). The Cash Alternative will not necessarily be of value to the respective prize(s).

Entry – On entry to any competition on the website, the correct answer must be submitted for each skill-based question, following this the fee must be paid for the respective competition. All payments are to be made in GBP (Pound Sterling, £) and can be made by the Entrant or on behalf of the Entrant. Postal entries can be made and are shown in section 6.8.

Questions – On completion of the skill based question (matching the correct answer held by bridges Competitions) the Entrant will obtain the opportunity to win the prize(s) by using skill or knowledge to correctly answer the multiple choice question.

Winner – Upon collection or delivery of the prize(s) the Entrant MUST provide proof of identity – it is mandatory that these details match the respective Entrant. The winner (Entrant) will be chosen at random using a Random Number Generator this will take place once the competition is sold out or has reached final closing date. In line with the Terms and Conditions the Entrant will receive their prize(s).

Maximum Number of Entries – Each competition has a maximum number of Entrants, if this number is reached before the closing date of the competition a live draw date will be announced within 48 hours. The period of sale for any one Competition will have between 14 and 30 days for Entrants to purchase ticket(s) (refer to each individual timer for this time period on the Competitions) Competitions will never be extended and all end prize amounts are guaranteed, this is deemed by Bridges Competitions.

General

1.1 All Entrants are expected to have read the Terms and Conditions before accepting them when joining a competition via the Website. All Entrants that accept the Terms and Conditions agree to be bound by them.
1.2 Contact details must be included when requested by Bridges Competitions and must include (not limited to) a valid e-mail, address and phone number for the purpose of:
(a) Contacting Entrants upon Winning a prize
(b) In the circumstance of Bridges Competitions requesting testimonials that will include the Winner’s name and town of residence
(c) In line with the Privacy Policy
1.3 Any contact details provided should be maintained by the Entrant and be accurate for the use of Bridges Competitions.
1.4 Bridges Competitions will not be liable for any errors or inaccuracies provided by the Entrant that may lead to failure or inability to make contact with any Entrants.

Qualifying Persons

2.1 Qualifying persons are as follows.
(a)UK residents age 18 years or over unless product page on the website states otherwise
2.2 None qualifying persons are as follows.
(a) Any employees of Bridges Competitions
(b) Immediate family to employees of Bridges Competitions

3.1 All Entrants and Bridges Competitions recognise that Bridges Competitions may use any contact details provided by the Entrant and other data including personal data as defined by the Data Protection Act 1998. This data may be used by Bridges Competitions to administer the website and hold the competitions according to these Terms and Conditions.
3.2 Bridges Competitions may disclose this information to relevant third parties in the purpose of; prevention of fraud, money laundering, legal, other financial or regulatory reasons. The Entrant and Bridges Competitions must recognise this.

Operation of Competitions

4.1 All competitions that are operated will be done so by Bridges Competitions
4.2 Entrants should acknowledge that entry to a respective competition by answering the skill/knowledge-based question correctly and payment for their ticket(s) does not, in any way guarantee that they will win the prize(s).
4.3 The value of the prize(s) is NOT, in any way guaranteed by Bridges Competitions.
4.4 Entrants that participate in any competition should be aware that after an entry has been completed any incorrect answers made by the Entrant will still be charged, all completed Entries will be held by Bridges Competitions this is inclusive of incorrect answers – if an entrant is draw as the winner but has answered incorrectly the Competition will be re-drawn.
4.5 All Entrants must abide by any laws of their country of residence, failure to do so does not, in any way make Bridges Competitions liable for any entrant that enters the Competition unlawfully.
4.6 Bridges Competitions and the Entrants recognise that all Competitions, administration and all associated activities are governed by English Law and Bridges Competitions and Entrants are aware that the County or High Courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in the event of any dispute arising out of the Competition or it’s administration.
4.7 Upon reasonable grounds Bridges Competitions reserves the right to refuse or disqualify any Entrant if they breach any of these terms and conditions or if Bridges Competitions believes that any Entrant has acted in a way that is reasonably considered to be illegal.
4.8 Any Entries will not be returned and will become property of Bridges Competitions on receipt.
4.9 Each competition has a maximum number of Entrants, if this number is reached before the closing date of the competition a live draw date will be announced within 48 hours. The first period of sale for any one Competition will be between 14 and 30 days for Entrants to purchase ticket(s) (refer to each individual timer for this time period on the Competitions)

Wallet and Top Ups

5.1 Once any Entrant has registered an account on Bridges Competition’s website all persons will be allocated their own ‘Wallet’ – within the ‘Wallet’ money can be deposited to use on any given competition, this also allows participants to control and give themselves spending limits.

5.2 The ‘Wallet’ section is found under ‘My Account’ tab and then under the ‘My Wallet’ tab.

5.3 Wallet top ups given by the company from games to win site credit must be spent on the site and is not withdrawable. Only prizes won from site credit or with your own monies are eligible to withdraw. Cash giveaways will be labelled as such and may be withdrawn.

Competition Entry

6.1 Any Entrant that enters any respective Competition must recognise that they are required to exercise knowledge, judgement and skill to provide the correct answer to the respective Competition’s question.
6.2 Each Competition will clearly state the amount of maximum entries for a respective competition, each Entrant will also only be able to purchase a set amount of maximum tickets per competition which will also be stated on each Competition.
6.3 On entering any competition, all Entrants will be asked to provide their contact details, which must include a postal address, e-mail address, telephone number and card payment details to pay for the entry fee. The Entrant’s card payment will be taken once this information is submitted and be will electronically approved.
6.4 Upon the Maximum Number of tickets being sold and/or the Final Closing Date being reached, the Competition will close.
6.5 All Entrants must recognise that entries to all competitions are final and no refund shall be made. Except if entries are submitted after the Final Closing Date or if Bridges Competitions cancels the competition in which a refund to your wallet will be given.
6.6 Bridges Competition’s decision is final and the result of the Competition will have no correspondence as described above following the determination of the Winner.
6.7 All Entrants agree that the usual requirements under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations of 2000 for any goods and services ordered online are to be supplied within 30 days will not apply to any of these Prize Competitions.
6.8 FREE Entry Route – Postal Entry: –
Any of Bridges Competitions has competitions that can be entered using the free entry method.
You must send an unenclosed, stamped postcard stating; the Competition you would like entry to, the correct answer to the appropriate question for the specific Competition and also include your personal details as follows;
• Full Name
• Date of Birth
• Postal Address
• Email Address
• One Contact Number
The postcard sent MUST contain the correct Answer to the specific question for the desired competition.
The postcode must be either clearly typed or clearly written and addressed to Bridges Competitions, Bridges Competitions is not responsible to enter anyone into the competition if the writing of the postcode is not legible and is not addressed to Bridges Competitions. In addition to this if one postcode contains multiple entries this will not comply with the Terms and Conditions.
If any Entrant is to make a postal entry, they must have an account on our website at the time of posting the entry. All details between the account and postcard entry must match.

It is mandatory that any entries to a respective competition are received before the Final Closing Date of the competition. If any entries fail to follow all the criteria mentioned above – the entry received will be noted as void.
If any Entrant is to be found attempting to use multiple names and/or addresses for any Competition all associated entries will be void, this is inclusive of the paid entry route.

7. End of Competition
7.1 If Bridges Competitions cannot contact the winner before 14 days after the draw of the Competition, Bridges Competitions reserves the right to redraw the Competition and announce a new winner. The Promotor will attempt to contact the Winner via e-mail, telephone, Facebook or Mail using the contact details provided. If the 14-day period has passed and a new Winner is selected, the original Winner does not have the right to claim the prize.

8. Cancellation of Competitions/Refunds
8.1 If any given competition is cancelled all Entrants will receive an email stating that the monies will be refunded to their Wallet on their Account, in the email they receive the Entrant may contact Bridges Competitions to get a direct refund to their Bank Account rather than the ‘My Wallet’ section of the website.
8.3 Any monies refunded into a User’s Wallet may be used for any live competition on Bridges Competition’s website.

9. Selecting a Winner
9.1 Once the Competition has closed and a date and time have been chosen by Ruby Reds Competitions, a Winner will be selected at random using a Random Number Generator on Facebook.
9.2 A draw date/time will be announced within 48 hours of the maximum entries being sold or the final closing date being reached. The time/date for the draw will be announced on Facebook and the Website.
9.3 All entry lists for all Competitions will be available to view on Bridges Competitions website.
9.4 For each Competition entered all entrants will be able to find their ticket number(s) on ‘My Orders’ on the website and these ticket numbers will match those on the order confirmation email and entry list.
9.5 On each Competition only one Winner will be selected unless otherwise stated on each individual Competition.
9.6 Once the Competition is complete and the Prize(s) is successfully issued to the Winner, the Prize(s) will be transferred. The Winner is responsible for the Prize(s) once the hand over is complete and Bridges Competitions LTD will take no responsibility for the Prize(s) once the hand over is complete.

10. Prize
10.1 Bridges Competitions owns any prize(s) until the hand over has been successfully completed as outlined in section 9.6.
10.2 There will be no warranty offered along side any prize(s) unless stated otherwise on individual draws. The Entrant is responsible for their own decisions including entering the Competitions and must be responsible for their own enquiries and legal advice before entering.
10.3 The respective prize for each Competition will only be awarded at the time of the draw and the only exception to the Prize is stated in section 6.1.
10.4 Delivery/Collection of the prize will be decided between the Winner and Bridges Competitions.
(a) If collection by the Winner is agreed, it is the responsibility of the Winner to collect their prize and bring proof of identity upon arrival and proof of entry into the respective competition at the time of collection.
10.5 Each competition will have a specific prize(s) with a cash alternative for each paid entry competition (not including free competitions). The Cash Alternative will not necessarily be of value to the respective prize(s).
10.6 If Bridges Competitions are unable to delivery the Prize(s) in person to the Winner, the Prize(s) will always be delivered via a tracked delivery service and once agreed with the Winner they will receive the tracking details. Upon sending the tracking details Bridges Competitions will NOT be liable for loss or damage to the Prize(s). It is the Winners responsibility to make sure they can receive the parcel at the time and date specified by the delivery company.

11. Use of Details
11.1 Upon entering a competition, the winner agrees to allow Bridges Competitions to display their name on the website and Facebook in accordance with the Privacy Policy. The name and town of residence of the Winner will be posted to the website once the Competition has been drawn.
11.2 Also, upon winning the Winner accepts that they are required to have photo(s) and video(s) taken for promotional purposes, this will take place directly after their win and could be included in future promotional material.
11.3 The Winner also agrees to provide Bridges Competitions with a photo(s) or video(s) of them with the prize they won, if it is delivered to the address the Entrant provided – this must include the promotional material sent with the prize.
11.4 Anyone to enter a competition authorises Bridges Competitions to enter their details into their database and to use the information in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 and subject to the terms of the Privacy Policy.

12. Cancellation of Competitions
12.1 Bridges Competitions reserves the right to cancel at any time, this could take place before or after the tickets to the Competition have sold. If any Competition is cancelled – the monies paid for any tickets will be returned to the respective Entrant if the form of:
(a) A Bank Card Refund
(b) Store Credit
(c)A Bank Transfer

13. Communication
13.1 Bridges Competitions will NOT accept liability for any loss suffered by any Entrants as a result of failed computer communications or incomplete entries or for any loss suffered as a result of the use of Ruby Reds Competitions competition website
13.2 If any Entrants suffer failures in their computer systems, other malfunctions, high Internet traffic, hardware failures, software failures, server faults or any other reason – Bridges Competitions will not accept responsibility or liability for any entries that have not been received.

14. Miscellaneous
14.1 Bridges Competitions will not be held liable for any loss (including economic loss), death or personal injury suffered to or sustained by any person or property as a result of any act or omission of Bridges Competitions. The Promotor will also not be held liable for any loss as stated above in the development, planning and administration of the Competition this is inclusive of the distribution of the Prize(s) to the Winner. bridges Competitions accepts no liability for errors or omission contained within the Prize(s) details, description or specification or any other part of the Website. It is the responsibility of each Entrant (especially the Winner) to satisfy themselves as to the accuracy of any details and/or content of Bridges Competitions website.
14.2 All the rules written for any competition shall not create or be construed as a binding term for any form of contract, joint adventure, or other agreement between any Entrant and Bridges Competitions.
14.3 If any Entrant(s) is found engaging in any form of activity below any Entry(s) by that person will be deemed as VOID and they will NOT receive a refund of the monies received by Bridges Competitions.

(a) Any form of fraud (actual or apparent)

(b) Fraudulent Misrepresentation

(d) Hacking or Interference with the proper functioning of the Website

(e) Amending, or unauthorised use of any of the code that constitutes the Website

(f) Creation of duplicate and or fake accounts to gain more entries into competitions.

14.4 Bridges Competitions reserves the rights to make changes to the Terms and Conditions at any time. If any changes are made, they will be immediately published on the Home Page of the website.

15. Safe Play

Tools to set time outs and or exclusions from 1 week to indefinitely can be found in the my account section of the website under the self exclusion tab. Weekly spend limits can be added to your account by emailing. if you require a spend limit to be changed there will be a 24 hour cool off period set for limit increases.
